@Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede #025 Socialite Review #RevlonChangeAgents

Disclaimer:  I received a Revlon Colorstay sample complimentary through Vogue in order to review and share my opinions.  As always, my opinions are my own.
Revlon recently introduced ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipsticks.  They come in 20 shades and and provide instant moisture, all-day color and contain super moisturizing shea butter and aloe. These lipsticks provide a more matte finish but actually moisturize at the same time.  There is a bit of a sheen on your lips after you apply the ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipsticks too.  They are definitely not as drying as some of the other long-wear lipsticks out there currently.
I received Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede #025 Socialite.  This is a great, versatile color which is somewhat neutral. I found it really easy to apply and it felt very creamy when I first applied it.  My little trick that I learned a few years ago is that I applied a light coat of lip balm underneath and then a bit of gloss on top of it. It still stays well but it is a bit less drying.  Try it both ways and see what works best for you without lipbalm underneath and with it. You will have to let me know.
I have to tell you this color lasts a long time...it stayed on all day for me even with eating and drinking.  I also love the sleek package design too.  They fit easily in any purse.  The top clicks right in too so you don't have to worry about it in your most expensive purse.
Take a look at the Revlon Facebook page for more updates and promotions.  You can also follow them on Twitter.  I like to follow my fave brands like Revlon. You never know what they post for their followers and you always get the inside scoop!

I was excited to get a NYC New York Color product again this past from Influenster for a several reasons:
  • I can find them easily at Rite Aid, Duane Reede, Walgreens and other pharmacies
  • They are really reasonably priced
  • They make it easy to get a fun new color and experiment

I really like
all their adorable lip glosses so it was great to get their new Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in Big Apple Red #395! APPLELICIOUS GLOSSY LIP BALM runs a very reasonable $2.99 or so in my local stores.

Where else can you get gorgeous lip color straight from the Big Apple?  Applelicious Lip Balm from NYC New York Color has a conditioning “core” of moisture, this lush lip balm infuses lips with color, shine and moisture.  Each applelicious shade has an soft apple scent, leaving lips deliciously sweet and temptingly soft.

The hydrating core is formulated with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Avocado Oil to smooth, soften and moisturize lips--see the little apple in the center? Perfect for pre-teens or teenagers since the color is pretty sheer.  My lips have been soft and I love the sheer sheen. Perfect for this season too.   I like the light apple scent but I was hoping for a bit of apple flavor...no flavor.  The glosses come in  a variety of nice light shades that all have apple-inspired names: Apple Blossom, Apple Blueberry Pie, Apple Plum Pie, Applelicious Pink, Big Apple Red, Blushing Golden, Caramel Apple, Chocolate Apple, Garnet Gala, and Pink Lady. Try them all and let me know what you think.
