Disclosure: I received an opportunity to share my knowledge with my readers via Influenster.  I am posting as part of a contest to win a prize for sharing this information.

All kinds of shirts are a hot item in the internet marketplace and on Ebay.  Think about it. People wear shirts every single day...well, almost I would say. Most people have multiples of shirts in various styles, colors and materials. Consider people that live in areas with fours seasons. They have tons of different kinds of shirts. You have to stay warm, stay cool and find ways to stay comfortable all year long. The right shirt can really make a difference. You can always use a new shirt especially if it is a cool color or it has an interesting style that appeals to you. Start out with these ideas and you will have an excellent finished product that consumers will snap up.

First Things First
First you want to choose whether you are going to sell your own brand of shirts or  custom shirts, a name-brand or no-brand basic shirts.  This is very important. How hard can it be to do that? Not that challenging, in fact, you might already have that part covered. How hard can it be to do that? Then there are two basic steps at this point. You want to sell shirts and make a profit. Very simple and easy. You can start here at the Ebay Listing Flow to get some ideas.

Thinking Things Out
The shirt itself needs to be carefully thought out. You want to do this right and have a shirt that has a purpose and be effective whether it is plain or has a customized. You want to do it well because you want the end result…to make a profit. When you are selling a shirt, you are asking your buyer to wear, represent, and actually be a partner to your brand whether it has a logo or not.  Define clearly what your shirt represents and tell them why they would want to wear it. This will get them interested and even promote social sharing. This is the key to selling. You can go to the Seller Center homepage to start yourself going.

Some Ideas to Start With
A few examples would be, “It provides effective wicking so that when you sweat it dries quickly and keeps you feeling comfortable and looking fashionable during any activity,” or “Your friends will be posting your amazing new casual shirt look on their iphone with hashtags like #coolfriendsshirt #bestshirtever so fast your head will spin," or "This stylish shirt will clinch your next special date or job interview."

Get Moving
That’s it in a nutshell. Start with one or two good designs for your shirt. Don’t bite off more than you can chew initially. You want a few fashionable products to sell and you will be successful. Get cracking now and head over to the Seller Center.
