COVID Times: Fun Activities to do with Teens, Tweens, Kids and Family in NJ and Beyond

It's time for some FUN! This has been a REALLY long year so far for all of us and you are thinking about what you can do to stay active, engaged and safe with your family. I'm based here in New Jersey but alot of these ideas you can put into play anywhere. Get out or just get moving in the house and have some fun!

1.  Did you know you can create your own themed puzzles, crosswords, word searches and even mazes? There are tons of programs online that can help you do this in a snap and its a lot of fun. You can even make one to share with a group on Zoom, HouseParty or Microsoft Teams. Choose any theme from cooking to COVID_19 to the season and have everyone participate to come up with related words and use them in the puzzle.

2.  Remotely visit a museum that you always wanted to visit!

3.  Visit a wolf preserve and interact with wolves in real life.

4. Set up a home gym and work out together! You don't need much to get started you can use a towel or a mat if you have them and use water bottles or soup cans for weights. If you want something heavier fill a laundry container with sand and you have a kettlebell. Check out tons of  free online videos on Pop Sugar or Fitness Blender
