Disclaimer: I received Sea Band products complimentary in order to evaluate them for myself. As always, my opinions are my own.
Be Prepared to Stop Motion Sickness in Its Tracks This
Summer
You are ready to go on your vacation. Finally! The summer
travel check list is all checked off and you’re ready to kick back and enjoy your special vacation. Flight, cruise ships, fishing trips, glass bottom boats, scuba diving, parasailing, car rides,.... if Sea-Bands weren't checked on your list then you better hop on over to the store because chances are that someone in your family (me, Glamamama!) will suffer
from motion sickness, which could really wreck your relaxing vacation. That nausea is just awful. I have been susceptible to motion sickness ever since I was a little kid....I still don't read in the car and always sit in the front seat. I even used my Sea-Bands and Sea-Band Anti-Nausea Ginger Gum when I was pregnant! Sea-Bands are my fave travel companion though....along with Sea-Band Anti-Nausea Ginger Gum. Always in my pocket, purse and travel bag. Even my hubby double checks with me before our trips to make sure I am stocked up....he doesn't want to deal with it either lol!
Did you know that 53 million Americans suffer from motion
sickness (car sickness, air sickness, or sea sickness) and children ages 5
to 12 years old, women, and the elderly are the most susceptible. If you’re a
parent, packing drug free, easy-to-wear, Sea-Band wristbands (available in
adult and kids sizes) should be as critical as packing their favorite DVDs and
snacks.
Be prepared and don’t let nausea from the journey or side
effects from anti-nausea medication ruin your time at the destination.
Who wants to be overpaying for this easy to stow remedy either on the cruise ship or on the tropical vacation? Keep Sea-Bands in your glove compartment or travel bag and you’ll be ready to
combat motion sickness within 5 minutes. Approved by the FDA, Sea-Band
acupressure wristbands are the leading natural, drug-free remedy for motion
sickness (car sickness, air sickness, or sea sickness). They work using the
ancient Chinese art of acupressure, by applying continuous pressure to the
inner wrists (P6 Neiguan pressure
point) through a small plastic ball on the inside of each wristband. This stimulation
causes the nervous system to release chemicals that help to trigger the body’s
natural healing abilities, relieving nausea in minutes. My sister and I swear by them.
In addition to the wristbands, Sea-Band Anti-Nausea Ginger
Gum is a great option if you’d prefer to subtly relieve your nausea without
having to wear your nausea relief bands. Or, you can use the two together like I do. Pure ginger root has been used as a
medicinal herb for thousands of years and Sea-Band has captured its natural
soothing properties in a fast-acting, great-tasting chewing gum. Each piece of
gum contains 25mg of ginger oil—equivalent to 8g of fresh ginger root! I find both products often at Walmart, Target, Rite-Aid, Walgreens and CVS.
Sea-Band products are available in mass market retail,
supermarkets and drug stores in the U.S and Canada:
·
Sea-Band Drug Free Nausea Relief Bands: $11.99
(U.S), $12.99 (Canada)
·
Sea-Band Anti-Nausea Ginger Gum: $6.99 (U.S.)
