Aaaah, Mary J. She is just a legend. I remember listening to her music as far back as the '90s and she just made some amazing music. Summers down by the beach with Mary J are amazing memories for me. I have to say I love it when one of the world’s most talented artists like Mary J. just shake it up a bit and create something you would never expect, but just totally LOVE?
I can't believe that it is almost already here. December 2, 2014 is the day Mary J Blige’s The London Sessions will be released so everyone can hear it. I was so excited that I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek and listen to it early since I got a private download of this amazing album. Mary J Blige recorded this album in London, collaborating with some of music’s hottest new stars including Sam Smith, Disclosure, and Emeli Sandé. Mary’s trademark emotional, strong, uplifting messages are delivered to her fans with a novel and modern touch.
Over the years she has released eight multi-platinum albums, received nine Grammy Awards + 31 nominations, a 2012 Golden Globe nomination, and four American Music Awards. Mary J Blige, the songmistress is truly a superstar around the world. If you are reading this, you know she has a super loyal fan base. Once you listen to Mary J, you love her forever.
Ooops, she did it again. She has another amazing album. But not just another album....Mary J. Blige has done it different this time by hopping on a plane to London to collaborate with some of this decade’s most amazing UK musical talent – including Disclosure, Eg White, Emile Sandé, Jimmy Napes, Naughty Boy, SAM ROMANS and Sam Smith. Each of the collaborators worked with Blige to create a new body of work driven by her one-of-a-kind voice. The results are altogether thrilling.
