I recently heard about a new kind of apple that doesn't brown and I was super excited. Opal apples make the perfect lunchbox option for picky kids like mine who won't eat a whole apple but won't eat pieces of Apple that are brown. I used to douse them in lemon, cinnamon and sugar for a disguise but I can be free of that job with Opals. 

The company shared that you can’t compare apples to Opals^® and they are right. They may not be available year round, but you can get them from November until March so look for them at your local supermarket. I know my ShopRite has them. They are so pretty too...bright yellow Opals^® make my life a little easier with lunches and snacks. The whole family loves their sweet and tangy flavor and texture. They have a perfect crunch too. I was thrilled about the fact that these non-GMO apples are naturally non-browning too.
