Gardening and recycling with a little help fromChick-fil-A #chickfilamomsDIY #sponsored

I love to garden and that is no secret. The key for me is getting an early start with the seeds. One of the flowers that I just adore is sunflowers. There is something so fascinating and almost prehistoric about them that just ales me want to grow them every year. Someone, or some others apparently love them just as much though and that can be problematic. Who? That is a question you might ask. Not a friend....those vexing squirrels. Chick-fil-A has given me an easy solution though. Even better, the solution is green.

As a Chick-fil-A Mom, I am fortunate to receive some goodies here and there and one of them recently helped to facilitate this review. I had one of their delicious salads and I had a challenge to recycle the container. The timing was perfect as the squirrels had recently raised my sunflower seeds that I had planted in a little peat pot on my porch. Of course I was quite irked until I realized I had the perfect solution. My Chick-fil-A salad container already has vent holes and a cover to keep out prying and hungry squirrels.

I added a bit of festive spring flower decor, potting soil, water and my sunflower seeds to my Chick-fil-A salad container and covered it lightly.  A perfect squirrel proof mini seed starter pot that is as green as it can be. Thanks Chick-fil-A for my little greenhouse. I will keep you all posted as the sunflowers grow tall and beautiful!
