We have a very large deck which is wonderful in the summer. Come fall though, all my expensive furniture must be stored it covered.  This is the mid-Atlantic though and I need heavy duty covers. I was happy to try the Astor Premium Chair Cover recently. Rain, snow, ice, sun, wind or mold are no match for this rugged fabric protector. The mold part was important to me because I have had other covers that got mold on them and it was really frustrating to clean. This Astor cover fits snugly, has an adjustable fit, and even has a click-buckled strap to battle the wind and win. My other covers never had a click-buckle strap and I had to jerry rig straps. This is much better and easier for me. I feel confident that this will keep my expensive outdoor furniture safe, clean and dry all year round. 

This Astor Armchair cover has several advantages. One is the double level of protection: an outer surface that actually sheds precipitation and won't crack in cold temperatures, plus a PVC undercoating that stops water in its tracks. I can see that the heavy-duty material is sewn with strong, interlocking seams to make it through winter and beyond. It looks like good quality material.

We get some serious wind here....perhaps it is just our deck and where it is situated. No matter how the wind blows, you can be sure this cover won't be going anywhere between the snug fit and the click-buckle straps it is a good one. It even has an elasticized cord with toggle stop that you tighten under the bottom edges of the seat built right into the hem.  My old ones didn't have that for sure. It even has corner straps that wrap around the chair's legs and secure in place with that one-click buckle. Your chair is completely protected,  from above and below from any water that might splash up from the ground.

The mesh air vents prevent condensation from building up under the cover, so mold and mildew never get a chance to grow. I wish I had known this a few years ago! One issue I worried about when I started using this is will my husband have a fit about the drain with all the oil.
