My hair tends to be dry and definitely has some damage from hot tools. I can't help it. It is frizzy and I color it (gotta cover those grays!) and then there is those twice a year keratin treatments too. Not the best recipe for healthy looking hair. I need some options to help it look and feel softer and smoother. I use conditioner every time I wash it and I have tried a bunch of deep conditioners with various results but nothing stellar. I just would like to see some shine and reduce the frizz.
I had the opportunity recently to check out an organic option for hair care which I was excited about. Organic Morocco Argan Oil Hair Treatment Mask is a a natural option that the company tells me will get your hair looking and feeling better fast. They shared with me that this is an intense, hydrating hair mask that helps to restore and soften dry and overworked hair. It can bring dull, tired hair back to life without weird chemicals or funny ingredients that make you worry. A great solution I was thinking to myself.
It was super easy to use...no special equipment required. After washing and rinsing your hair, do like I did and just apply a generous amount of this pleasant smelling treatment to your hair from roots to ends and leave it in for 10-15 minutes while you relax in the tub or read a book. I took the opportunity to do both. Rinse it off and style as usual. I noticed my hair was softer and shinier right away. After I dried it and styled it there was a definite difference. Even my husband commented that my hair looked great. I would keep using this great hair treatment especially in the summer months with the beach and sun....keep my hair looking beautiful.

Pure Organic Argan Oil for skin care review #arganalchemy
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I really prefer organic and natural beauty products these days. It used to be a real challenge to find good organic beauty care but with Amazon, it makes it so much easier! I recently had the opportunity to try out a wonderful skin care product from Argan Alchemy that is USDA organic and works beautifully. Who knows what is in so many of those drugstore products out there? I like that with Argan Alchemy I know that I am getting a 100% pure and organic Argan oil imported from Morocco, the native land of the Argan tree.
One of the things that is also important to consider is who benefits from the beauty products you buy. I love that Argan Alchemy organic Argan oil is produced in women-run cooperatives, and is hand pressed in the traditional way. There are no added chemicals or fragrances, just pure and natural Argan oil. That makes me feel good about using it everyday to keep my skin moisturized and beautiful. It is easy to use too....I just squeeze a few drops out morning and night and gently blend into my face and neck. I wake up in the morning looking fresh and dewy.
My family and friends have been more interested in natural beauty care since I have introduced them to the fact that it is an option that can really benefit all of us. The beautifully labeled bottle Argan Alchemy contains 2 ounces of the oil, and comes with a dropper. My mom and sister love beauty gifts and this would be a lovely gift or part of a super beauty gift basket for anyone. It is already on my list for gifts!
The elegant package makes a great gift idea, or a treat to yourself. You can purchase this wonderful and pure organic argan oil on Amazon as well. There is even a $5.00 off coupon when you use discount code GLFV45YX

Wella Brilliance Treatment for Fine to Normal, Colored Hair Review
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
My hair gets so dry sometimes and I don't know what to do with it. I color it, highlight it, use keratin twice a year...you know the whole routine. It isn't so easy on my poor hair. I didn't even mention the hot tools yet either. There are some good options out there to help your hair look and feel softer, shinier and keep the color fresh. I recently had the opportunity to try out one of them from a well known and time-tested brand that we all know and love. Wella Brilliance Treatment is a specialized option to repair fine to normal colored hair.
My hair is actually fine to normal...sometimes a little more on the fine side but pretty average in thickness. One of the issues I often encounter is that my color fades quickly even though I only wash it 2-3 times a week. I was hoping that I would see my hair color looking fresher in addition to making it softer and shinier as Wella had suggested.
It was very easy to use. I shampooed it as usual with my gentle color safe shampoo and then applied the Wella Brilliance Treatment. I left it in for 5 minutes as the directions suggested. I rinsed it out and styled it as usual with my round brush and a blow dryer. I liked how the Wella Brilliance Treatment quickly made my hair more vibrant. The color just looked fresh and definitely more vibrant after using it. It felt soft and had the pretty flowing kind of curl at the bottom that I really like but don't always get even after a good blow dry. I would use Wella Brilliance Treatment for Fine to Normal, Colored Hair with Diamond Dust on a regular basis to keep my hair soft and the color fresh.
It comes in a 5.07oz container.
Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cetyl Alcohol, Silicone Quaternium-22, Divinyldimethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Bis-PEG-4 Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, PEG-4 Dilaurate, PEG-4 Laurate, C12-13 Pareth-23, C12-13 Pareth-3, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, PEG-4, Diamond Powder.

Whether you are 16 or 56 it is always a good practice to take excellent care of your skin. How can you do that naturally though? We all know you need to exfoliate the skin gently but how is the best way to do that while trying to remain eco-friendly? I recently had the opportunity to try something new that truly gently cleans the skin and leaves it refreshed. This special something is the pureSOL Konjac Sponge. Konjac is actually a moisture rich, naturally akaline plant fiber. A very cool plant sponge cleanser! A perfect cleansing tool to balance the natural acidity of the skin's impurities and oils. The pureSOL Konjac Sponge has a unique net like structure which gently massages the skin, breaks down dirt. In turn, this action stimulates blood flow and the new growth of fresh skin cells. I found it to be an easy and simple way to get my skin super clean and refreshed after a long day or work and a workout.
IMPROVES SKIN TEXTURE: pureSOL Konjac Facial Sponge gently exfoliates while deep cleansing and removing any toxins and impurities, leaving you with a radiant complexion. It is extremely soft and gentle for everyday skin care. Great for all skin types.
BRIGHTER LOOKING SKIN: The natural woven fibers of the sponge gently massage the skin and stimulate blood flow. It detoxifies and encourages skin renewal while balancing the skins pH, leaving your skin extremely clean and refreshed.
PREVENTS SPOTS, BLACKHEADS AND BREAKOUTS: The added BAMBOO CHARCOAL contains activated carbon and essential minerals to deeply cleanse and absorb excess sebum, toxins and other harmful chemicals from your skin. You will see your pores getting smaller, tightening and brightening your skin.
100% NATURAL AND ECO-FRIENDLY: Why compromise your health with products that contain harsh chemicals and additives on your skin? pureSOL Konjac Sponge is completely natural, eco-friendly and free of parabens, sulphates and chemicals. It is biodegrade, cruelty free and vegan. After use, you can compost the sponge and feel good about the environment....even better add it to your flower pots or your garden!
