I workout hard. Alot. That means every day I need to eat well to maintain my energy and give my body the nutrients I need so I can keep going through work, family, life, workouts and more. It is a challenge whether you are 22 or 52.  It is great to have supplements that you can be confident support your efforts every single day. There are tons of products out there but NLA for Her is a different line of products that is engineered for my needs as a woman.  NLA's mission is to empower women women through fitness and proper supplementation. Think about it. NLA even has a laser focus with their motto of, "Create Your Own Goddess".  I recently tried NLA Uplift and really need to tell you about my experience.
I received several samples to try out. The Uplift pre-workout energy supplement blends very easily into my beverages like almond milk and water. I felt so much more energetic when I started using them. I noticed it the very next day. Usually I am really sore because I am always changing up my routine and ramping it up my muscles take a beating. I have a hard time getting out of bed the next morning. By adding NLA for Her Uplift into my daily routine I noticed that my recovery time seemed to be much faster.  I pretty much bounced out of bed and my legs were not so sore. Trust me, the workout WAS hard too. I think it was the NLA Uplift that made the difference.

I was so excited that Bulu Box is going to feature the NLA supplements brand in an upcoming Bulu Box. You have to check out Bulu Box healthy monthly subscription boxes. They are amazing. You can choose your plan but the annual plan is the best value.  I was not familiar with them before but I am going to be sharing the brand with my fitness buddies. You have a few options for purchasing them to make it really easy too. You can purchase on NLAforHer.com or at the Bulu Box Shop! You can get more information by following them on Twitter and Facebook too.

Cetaphil Skin Squad #GentlePower Party

Disclosure:  I received a party package of Cetaphil Skin products through Crowdtap in order to host a party and share the products and my experiences with my guests. As always, my opinions are my own.

I was lucky enough to be selected recently as part of a small, select group from the Cetaphil Skin Squad through Crowdtap. I had the chance to participate and host a Cetaphil Skin Squad party.  It was a fun opportunity to get together with friends and use the Cetaphil products!

They sent plenty to share with my guests so that they could try them and see what they thought. They even included an extra Cetaphil® Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 for my guests to take home and share with one of their friends! Who wouldn't jump on the opportunity to get together with the girls (and guys!)  and have some fun with Cetaphil?

Here are some of the Cetaphil goodies they shared with us:
  • 1 full size cloth
  • 1 full size RestoraDerm
  • 1 full size moisturizer
  • 10 sample cloths
  • 10 sample RestoraDerm
  • 10 sample moisturizers
  • 1 pamphlet
We had a great time chatting about our skin and relaxing with some wine, fresh fruit and bottled water on the deck of our beach house. Please excuse the deck chairs and furniture...our new set as delayed until next Friday so we had to make do!

Ruth was excited about the Cetaphil Skin Care Wipes for both her and her daughter. They are an easy way to freshen up after a long day at the beach. Both of them agreed.  They liked that the wipes are non-comodegic so they won't clog pores or cause acne.  Jane thought the Cetaphil wipes would be terrific for travel or stashing at work for a quick refresh.  She also noticed that the Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer contained SPF 15 to keep the skin protected every single day. She is a skin care nut like me so I was laughing that she noticed it before I even had a chance to point it out!  My husband is not a big fan of scented products. One of the things that he liked about the Cetaphil products is that there is almost no scent.  It is very faint to nothing and he said he would use it because of that.

You can find the entire line of Cetaphil products pretty much everywhere too.  I have been a lifelong Cetaphil user and always find them conveniently on and off-line in Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and Target.  I have even picked them up on Amazon when I am in a pinch.  If you want love Cetaphil and want to get involved with spreading the love through their Cetaphil Skin Squad you can check out more here.

Bellafab Skincare Matrixyl 3000 Serum Review #bellafabmatrixyl

I recently had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at a great new skin care product from BellaFab. I am always on the lookout for ways to keep my skin looking good and BellaFab Skincare's Matrixyl 3000 Serum to Curb Wrinkles is a good option. I am always open to trying new things but not painful injections. That is why I was excited to hear that BellaFab Skincare Matrixyl 300 Serum was developed to use for pain free skin care rejuvenation and restoration.  That is an opportunity that is right up my alley. It is a super anti-aging skin cream, anti-wrinkle serum and moisturizer all rolled up into one.

Matrixyl 3000 contains two key compounds called matrikines and peptides. These substances speed up the process of cell repair. They do this by stimulating synthesis of collagen, and other proteins essential that are the building blocks for the skin structure.
Matrixyl 3000 has a special combination of compounds  including palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyltetrapeptide-7. These both are super powerful anti-oxidants. As we age skin oxidizes.  Strong anti-oxidants like Matrixyl 3000 are powerful weapons to fight the aging process. Bellafab shares that compounds like Matrixyl 3000 even hast the potential to reverse the process.  The matrikines penetrate and regulate cell activity and prompt repair and restructuring of the skin cells.  After continued use, I noticed my skin looking fresher and this is a common experience.  Matrixyl actually repairs skin from the papillary dermis, the layer between dermis and epidermis for long lasting results with no injections.

Matrixyl 3000 has been studied rigorously and the majority of the data shows positive results for the anti-aging benefits, especially when used as a topical serum.  Matrixyl 3000 is one of the most popular new ingredients for skin care. I didn't realized that not every product labeled Matrixyl 3000 is the same. Bellafab utilized skincare experts to help them find the perfect combination for efficacy and safety.

My thoughts:  I found Bellafab Skincare Matrixyl 3000 to be an easy to use product. It felt good on my skin and didn't cause any irritation. My skin looked fresh in the mornings after I used it and it felt good at night after I applied it just before bed.  I will keep using it and let you know my experiences.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Tide to Go Review #TidetoGo #contest @influenster

Disclosure: I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

I have always had the kind of job that has me working out of a company car. I have a professional career and have to dress accordingly. Actually, my industry has always been on the conservative side. It used to be skirt suits ALL the time back in the day.  It really got old fast especially in the winter. Then, years ago pants suits became acceptable. Big improvement. Now conservative dresses, pants suits, skirt suits or a skirt and a dressy top all are just fine. My dry cleaning bill is a nightmare though. I really try my best to buy clothes that I can wash in cold water and hang to dry.  During the day I have to be prepared for anything though. You should see my car...I could probably do surgery from the backseat I am so well prepared. All that thought includes my Tide to Go pen.  Stains happen. Often. Be ready when they do with the Tide to Go pen and worries go away fast.

Recently I was running around from client to client trying to tie up loose ends before the 4th of July holiday.  I realized I needed to eat so I stopped at a little deli for a cup of healthy Split Pea Soup.  I was wearing a tan dress and of course I spilled a little on my dress in my rush to eat quickly and get to my next appointment.  I sighed and took a deep breath, finished my soup and ran back to my car. I grabbed my handy Tide to Go pen and dabbed away.  The stain was history in less than two minutes.  By the time I got to my next client you could not see a thing.  It works beautifully.

Add the Tide to Go pen to your shopping list or if you have your phone handy add it to your shopping list app.  You will be happy you did...maybe even pick up two one to stash in your purse and another for the car or a friend.   Let me know how it works for you.
