I heard recently that I would get the opportunity to try a product from the luxe brand Strivectin. I have used their products before and have had great experiences.  I use a variety of brands from my head to my toes but you will probably agree that you always feel like you get better results from the higher-end brands like Strivectin. The pharmacy brands can do the job but the question always is do they do it as well as the luxury brands?   Hmmm....

I really enjoyed using Strivectin TL Advanced™ Tightening Neck Cream. The past few years my mind often wanders to Nora Ephron...that book she wrote, "I Feel Bad About My Neck..." It starts to happen. I am super fit and eat really clean but I see some of those changes so I was practically grabbing the package out of the poor mail guy's hands. I wanted to try this Strivectin Neck Cream to see if it could truly help my neck.

The company has put some serious ingredients in there to help restore the structure beneath the skin. Now it provides even more tightening, lifting, and firming than ever before. StriVectin TL Advanced™ Tightening Neck Cream has a unique Gravitite-CF Lifting Complex™ which they say actually helps to restore the elastin fiber architecture. I like that it is something that can actually create noticeable lift and help defy gravity a little. I like that it works immediately and over time. 

I have been using it a few weeks now and I see my neck looks firmer.  Even after a week at the beach (of course I am a sunscreen freak!) it still looks good and I have to say a little bit smoother.  I have been really good with applying it almost every day even when I am exhausted at night because I am motivated. I apply it on my neck down to the beginning of the bra line (decollete) area as the directions suggested.  I hope I can continue but the good results have buoyed me and I think I will continue with it. I want to see if the improvement continues because they do point out the refinement will continue over time.

I use this at night after cleansing before I apply my nightime moisturizer. I do not have any deep wrinkles as of yet, but by using this amazing night time retinol cream, you can bet I will not be getting any wrinkles any time soon, as this formula is at work repairing my skin as I sleep. Upon wakening, my skin is unbeleivably soft and supple. It looks renewed and refreshed as well as dewey, but not greasy, so I know that the product has fully absorbed into my skin. Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream Review #BodyMerry

I admit that cellulite is an ongoing issue for me. I am super fit and eat really healthfully. I work out hard 4-5 times a week and I STILL have it. I was excited to try a new remedy from Body Merry.  They shared that there is a natural remedy that can really combat cellulite. They crafted a new cellulite fighter with a unique Caffeine + Retinol + Seaweed formula. This is a gel-cream that has a strong caffeine content with the optimum level of retinol (0.4%). This is the recommended level by experts. They even added potent natural and organic ingredients such as algae extract, kelp, coconut oil, japanese green tea leaf extract and cayenne. Like all the Body Merry products, it is free from harsh chemicals such as parabens, sulfates and phthalates.

The gel-cream consistency is designed to spread over large areas and it absorbs quickly into my skin. The cream is infused with a refreshing 100% natural ‘mint - green tea - lime’ fragrance, that barely leaves a trace once fully absorbed. I find I use it in the morning and at night when I am getting ready so I can let the area "air-dry" for a few minutes while I apply my makeup and do my hair (in the morning) and while I am getting ready for bed and brushing my teeth/washing my face. It works out really well. I like the scent and it feels good on my skin. I have only been using it about a week so I haven't detected a massive difference yet but I know you have to wait like 4-6 weeks to see an improvement. My thighs do look a little less lumpy. I despise those lumps and bumps! I use this along with a clean diet and a vigorous exercise plan which makes the most sense. I don't think the results would be as pronounced if you are scarfing potato chips and sweets right and left. On the other hand, I am not going to never have a cookie. Just a reasonable healthy diet I think!

I recently had the opportunity to evaluate a new skincare option from Vichy, a luxury beauty brand.  Vichy has been around for a number of years and I have used there products from time to time, along with other brands.  Vichy created something novel, a Life Serum to help "undo" some of our poorer health and beauty choices that impact our skin. Let's be realistic, you can't expect to never exercise, drink up a storm of sugary beverages, scarf fast food and sweets and then hope the new product, Vichy Idealia is going to correct it all.  They do suggest that you CAN stray from perfection from time to time, and enjoy life when you use Idealia.

 

I received a challenge for 8 days to live my life to the fullest. Permission to eat that extra cookie, stay out late, and even have an extra Mojito. Triscuit Brown Rice and Sweet Potato SnackRecipe #TeamTriscuit @Crowdtap

Have you seen all the new kinds of Triscuit crackers that are out there in the stores? It has been almost a year now that all these amazing new flavors have come out. Triscuit has some totally out there varieties and they are really good from Wasabi and Soy to Rosemary and Sea Salt and these yummy ones I used today. I have made my way through all of them at this point.  I must say each one is more delicious than the other. My whole family agrees!  Triscuits are a healthy snack on their own or with fun toppings. Take a peek at their ingredient list if you don't believe me. Surprisingly clean.

I recently made a fun snack with Triscuit Brown Rice and Sweet Potato...it came out delicious.  It is elegant enough to serve to guests or you can enjoy it on your own.

Put a bit of quince paste on both Triscuits then top with Manchego and grapes. Enjoy!
