I almost never though summer would get here but here we are and it is beautiful and warm out.  My daughter is so excited for summer activities and we always love to fly kites out in the summer by the beach. I was surprised at how large it was when it arrived. You will be very impressed. It even comes with its own nylon storage case with a velcro closure and plus a handle to carry it to your tree-free site. Less worries about tangling. This kite is as colorful as a rainbow with streamers that are almost like a windsock that you would hang by the door. It flies so easily because it is well constructed. Before you fly it you must insert the side support pole and tie the  sturdy line onto the loops. You can see them on the bottom of the kite. The photos just don't do the colors justice...very pretty and bright!  

This is a great gift for your own child or for a friend. It would make a fun birthday gift.  Pick a tree-free location at the beach or at the park to fly this beautiful rainbow kite. One of the best things about the Wind Leverager is that is very easy to assemble and very easy to fly even for smaller kids. Some kites can be a challenge to keep up in the air but this kite stays up with minimal effort. The real key is to just choose a good windy spot. We like a quiet beach in the late afternoon. A few minutes of prep and you will be flying this pretty kite in the sky and you will have a ball like we have been. The kite flies great in winds anywhere from 5-20 mph. Joy Williams was part of the four-time Grammy-winning folk-rock duo The Civil Wars. If you have followed her, you knew something was not right when they went on hiatus in 2014 and it just dragged on until they finally broke up in the late summer of 2014. Joy was a mystery until now....she is out with a new solo album VENUS and you hear her true stories as a musician, a mama and an artist. Joy shares her honest stories about pain and change and continuing to forge on through the difficulties until she reached the light.

The 11 tracks on VENUS reveals many of the mysteries. Through her music she honestly shares her stories and her pain through beautiful music. She had many challenges over the past few years. It shows how she was able to get to a beautiful place but how she had to walk in the dark for miles to get there. Joy thinks of it as a "break-through" album. She looks different too....I love her new hair color. You can feel her sense of new found freedom...she made a big change and moved to California with her family.

I love hearing her music and this new solo album was so sweet...a bit sad but sweet to know that she is in a good place now.
