It is spring and time for fresh skin. I liked the multiple benefits in one product. It was easy to apply and gentle on our skin. The pump bottle (available in store) is convenient for travel too. My facial skin feels rejuvenated and refreshed when I use it. I noticed my skin quality improved in about a week. I think that with continued use my skin will get clearer and brighter. Perhaps Garnier will consider a second option with a higher SPF as well and that would be wonderful.

I was excited to try the Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ Produce Saver because we eat so much produce in our house. I like that there are a variety of sizes to suit different needs too. This is a great innovation that really works. I have used it several times already for my kale and spinach and it stays much fresher versus those plastic tubs from the supermarket. I like that it has an innovative specially vented design that lets air circulate and gas escape. It is nice not having to toss expensive organic produce anymore since this little container keeps it fresh until I am ready to cook or whip up a smoothie. 

I like that you can pick up several of these convenient Rubbermaid containers in different sizes to use for fruits and vegetables. These are wonderful to keep delicate fruits like berries fresh for an extended period of time as well. The containers actually pay for themselves quickly because I find I am not throwing away spoiled fruit and greens like I used to! Give them a try and let me know what you think.

Max Lucado's Pocket Prayers book review

There are some days when you just need that extra little bit of support. If you haven't heard of Max Lucado, he is an author that you need to check out. He has so much inspiration to give to so many people. I recently had the opportunity to read a new series that just came out with six adorable Pocket Prayers books. Boy, the timing was just right. 

I know my life can be hectic between work, family, fitness and trying to create healthy meals. Ooops, I almost forgot all the afterschool events, activities and weekend social occasions. It can be a real squeeze especially when things so always go as planned. The big quesiton is where we can find some peace and rest from all this kookiness that we call life. The answer is Max Lucado. He has a set of wonderful books that are perfect for all the important people in your life including you, your friends, teachers and more. They give you just the kind of encouragement you need and are small enough to be infinitely portable. 

This series of six Pocket Prayers books from best-selling author Max Lucado is so inspirational.   When the chaos of our daily lives becomes overwhelming, where can we turn for peace and rest? These small books offer simple encouragement for those who struggle to pray. 

One of my best friends is a teacher and she just had a baby. I am putting together a gift basket for her and I am including the Pocket Prayers for Teachers as well. This little book has just the inspiration she needs on those challenging days. I know she will appreciate it! Meanwhile, my friend Dena is struggling daily with two children and she finally found a job after a year of searching. Glimmer Girls Book Series for tweens plus a giveaway #GlimmerGirls #FlyBy #flybypromotions #giveaway

I have a girl that loves to read and boy was she excited when she spied this new book series on the kitchen table. If you are looking for an exciting new writer to introduce to your child, you have to take a peek at these two new books by Natalie Grant. Who doesn't live a book a that involves twins? That used to be my favorite. This exciting series from the Glimmer Girls includes twins Mia and Maddie along with little sis Lulu. 

Adventures pop up everywhere they go and something exciting is always happening. Even better, their mom is a famous singer named Gloria Glimmer. They travel with their famous mom and dad and find adventure, mystery, and just a bit of hijinks along the way.  Their kooky nanny Miss Julia tries to keep them out of trouble, but that doesn't always work.

My tween settled right into this fun book series enjoying the London Art Chase. She like how it was clear that the girls were smart and stood up for themselves. The books shared some positive lessons and sprinkled them with a big dose of fun. This is a nice book series appropriate for children 9-12 years old.
