I received these products complimentary via Influenster for testing purposes in exchange for my honest opinion.
It is always fun to receive a VoxBox from Influenster. This box was a myriad of food and beauty items as well as a few white elephants that worked for me but maybe not for everyone. If you had little ones, one of the items was probably a HUGE hit. Either way it is fun and you never know until you try something if it might be a good option for you.
The first two items actually were part of a set from KISS. Kiss True Volume Lashes are a fun item for a big night out or a party. I have received KISS items before in previous VoxBoxes and they are always a nice addition because I wouldn't necessarily think of them on my own. Each time I get a fun items like falsh eyelashes and adhesive I realize it really does make a difference especially for a special night out. These are fairly easy to use with a little practice too. I like to do a few on the edges of my eyes to really bring out the color. Less is definitely more with falsies.
PureICE Nail Polish is a bargain that is available at Walmart. The color is pretty, a light blue called Bikini. It really reminds me of one of the famous mani-pedi brands--they have a color that is super similar. I tried it out this weekend and it applied very smoothly and dried quickly. This is a nice option if you are looking to save since you can pick it up for under $2.00.
Ore-Ida Tater Tots are a real blast from the past. I just used to LOVE when my mom bought these for us. It was always a real treat. It reminded me I have to pick these up more often for my own family. I mean, what is more yummy on a busy night than breakfast for dinner? OreIda also cooked up a fun new and EASY recipe that we tried called #Totchos with Tater Tots and cheesy eggs. Just delicious. Time to get running and up on my elliptical. Gym time too but totally worth every bite. Retail: ~$3.99 bag
Biscoff Biscuits from Lotus Brands are a light and delicious European biscuit. Winner, winner chicken dinner for this one. Who doesn't love a yummy cookie? Years ago I lived abroad and I remember these were common in the afternoons as a snack with coffee or tea. They are light and have a slight cinnamon flavor. These would also be delicious with a mug of hot chocolate. My tween really enjoyed them as well. Retail: ~$2.99
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream has been a staple for me since I was a kid. I have sometimes sensitive skin that has gotten more tolerant over the years but still can be problematic. I always keep unscented and gentle moisturizers in the house and use them often. It is totally fragrance free so don't be looking for some kind of lavender scent or anything like that. It it thick and does a great job of moisturizing and soothing dry or irritated skin. This would be good for kids too. It is not a cheapie though and runs about $8.99 and up depending on the formulation and size of the container. Worth it if you have skin that is sensitive.
Awww! The last item in this fun voxbox was a Hallmark IttyBitty. I received Olaf from Disney Frozen. He is a cute little guy and clearly there is a huge collection of IttyBitty's so if you are a collector of small animals you can hurry up and get started. Some of them are already sold out believe it or not. These were a popular item this Christmas. I think a lot of people bought them for Christmas and Hanukkah gifts. This is a cute idea especially if you know someone that is a Star Wars fanatic or Spiderman. They have lots of cute ones. They start at $6.95.
