Purex Crystals for Baby Giveaway & Sweepstakes

Purex has done it again.  First they came out with a great baby detergent, Purex Baby totally gentle enough for a baby's skin and all of those adorable baby clothes.  Now they have finally launched Purex Crystals for Baby, a baby fabric softener so that your baby's clothes can be soft and you will have no worries about irritations.  The fun part is they also launched a Welcome to the World Sweepstakes to celebrate Purex Crystals for baby too!  So you can win two ways:  on my blog giveaway below and in their sweepstakes.

I received my Purex Crystals for Baby this week and I love it.  From the adorable pink bottle to the clean, white crystals, Purex Crystals for Baby is a wonderful product. My little one loved the way her clothes smelled and was so eager to put on her clean pajamas after they were washed this week.  Even my hubby thought it was fresh and light and he is not a big scent kind of guy!  As for me, I was happy to see it is hypoallergenic, dye free and a 87% Natural Formula.  I get so happy even when it is time to go to the gym.  Before I put on my gym clothes I am a weirdo and like to smell my fresh, clean clothes.  If you are looking for a fabric softener for your baby that has a light, baby fresh scent then Purex Crystals for baby is perfect for sensitive skin. It is one of the best softeners I have seen that is good for adults and babies alike. It works well with high efficiency washers (which I have), you just throw the crystals in with the wash just like you would a liquid fabric softener. Clothes come out fresh and clean and nice and soft too.

You can find Purex Crystals for Baby at Walmart and other fine retailers. Let me know what you think.
Don't forget to enter my own Rafflecopter giveaway below. Meanwhile, enter the big Purex Welcome to the World Sweepstakes and throw a chance in the hat to win $1,000 or 250 other winners will win lots of other great prizes including a free coupon for a bottle of Purex Crystals for Baby. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Emmy Rossum Sentimental Journey Review #SentimentalJourney

#SentimentalJourney

I was excited when I heard about an opportunity to check out and review Emmy Rossum's new album with a release date of Tuesday, January 29.  I enjoy seeing Emmy Rossum on the HBO series Shameless with William H. Macy. It was kind of exciting to know she was so multi-talented.

Sentimental Journey is a collection of Emmy's passion for the classics.  These are songs which she has connected with and then collaborated matching one song for each month of the year.  I really enjoyed Summer Wind for the month of June and Nobody Knows You (When You're Down and Out) for the month of September.  They were both so different but resonated with me.  Summer Wind made me think about high school boyfriends and beach weather.  Everyone has different moods depending on the day you are having or the chilly weather.  It was a novel idea to set up her album that way and it seemed to fall in place for me as I listened to it.

Emmy has a way that makes all these songs work together. You can almost hear the seasons change from warm to cool.

These are all the album tracks:

“Sentimental Journey” (Les Brown, Ben Homer, Arthur Green)
“The Object Of My Affection” (Pinky Tomlin)
“I’m Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover “(Mort Dixon, Harry M. Woods)
“These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You)” (Eric Maschwitz, Jack Strachey)
“(I’ll Be With You) In Apple Blossom Time” (Albert Von Tilzer, Neville Fleeson)
“Summer Wind” (Heinz Meier, Johnny Mercer)
“Many Tears Ago” (Winfield Scott)
“All I Do Is Dream Of You” (Nacio Herb Brown, Arthur Freed)
“Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out” (Jimmy Cox)
“Autumn Leaves” (Joseph Kosma, Jacques Prévert)
“Things” (Bobby Darin)
“Pretty Paper” (Willie Nelson)

I can't wait to catch Emmy on Conan on January 28, Chelsea Lately on January 29 and
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on February 6th.

You can take a listen for yourself too!

Sentimental Journey is available through Amazon and Itunes.  You can follow Emmy Rossum on Twitter, or check her out on her TV show Shameless, or see her in the upcoming movie Beautiful Creatures.  Also, look for her in upcoming appearances on Access Hollywood Live, Conan (January 28), Chelsea Lately (January 29) and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson! (February 6)

I participated in this campaign for One2One Network. I received a free copy of the CD to facilitate my review. By posting, I am eligible for incentives. All opinions stated are my own.

Hiding in Sunshine Book Review A+ #HidingInSunshine @Influenster

@influenster #HidinginSunshine
I just finished this book, Hiding in Sunshine by John Stuart that I received complimentary through Influenster I love reading but you never know with books they either get you or they don't. I have to say I would go and buy this book I liked it so much. I stayed up WAY past my bedtime (LOL) and needed to finish it. The end of Hiding in Sunshine just totally blew me away. They really did a great job of getting you freaked out and totally into this book as it related to technology, computers and the current banking system. If you like mystery, intrigue, deep cover and that kind of good stuff you will LOVE this book. I thought it was a nice extra that it was written by a father-daughter team. Hiding in Sunshine is the work of a father and daughter duo who actually live in the immediate area where these fictional events transpire. John Stuart is a successful high tech entrepreneur. Caitlin Stuart is a student and an aspiring writer.  I just passed Hiding in Sunshine on to my mom who is now in the middle of reading it too. She is also enjoying it.
