I have been buying Lightlife foods for a bunch of years now but I didn't realize that the company went back to the late 1970's. The founders of the company had a desire to create yummy vegetarian food which, back then was not so easy to find. Think about it. Even in the 90's I had to go to the local health food store to find Lightlife products. Well now the company has really grown and products are available in all kinds of stores like my local ShopRite and Stop & Shop. Lightlife has tons of yummy options that make it easy to eat healthy and keep it vegetarian too. All their products are still made with the same kind of consideration to quality and care that made them so successful back in the day. 

If you have never given Lightlife vegetarian products a try, this a a great time to jump in and try their Smart Dogs. Summer BBQ's are all over the place but think about all the calories and fillers in those standard burgers and beef hotdogs. Subbing in a Lightlife Smart Dog is, well, a little bit smart! You still get to enjoy that yummy flavor and the texture is just like meat. Smart Dogs even smell like your favorite hotdog. It has clean ingredients too. As always, my box was filled with of lovely goodies that I could not wait to try. I like Manna Kadar products and have used them before with good results.  I like this two in one product because I can add some natural looking radiance to my cheeks and forehead and then add some of the highlight to my lids and cheekbones to really make my look complete. It has a nice texture and goes on smoothly.This is a great sized product too since it fits right in a purse or travel bag to keep the fresh look going all day and night. Retail $24
