Quaker REAL MEDLEYS Summer Berry Oatmeal Review

Once again, Influenster has found me some new things to get excited about.  I received a new Quaker oatmeal the other day as part of my Holiday 2012 VoxBox. I was pretty surprised by the taste and texture of this new REAL MEDLEYS by Quaker. It’s radically different from most of the other ready-made oatmeal I tried before. The Summer Berry flavor included multi-grains, strawberries, raspberries, & blueberries. Quaker Real Medley’s come in four different flavors:  Apple Walnut, Summer Berry, Peach Almond and Cherry Pistachio.  They all sound pretty good to me, especially after being kind of impressed with the Summer Berry. All of the oatmeal varieties range from 250 -290 calories.  The ingredients are pretty simple and I like that they start with the oats and multi-grains. 

To cook you just add water and microwave for 45 seconds. I have to say though, I always add skim milk to my oatmeal instead of water. I think it adds more nutrition and bang for your buck. You could always sub soy milk or almond milk if you prefer too. Either way, you can’t get much easier than that! Quaker REAL MEDLEYS are tasty, satisfying and convenient.  I definitely think these are a great option for busy mornings. I love that you could eat them on the way to work if you commute by public transportation too. You can buy them for about $1.79 each which is pretty reasonable considering how convenient they are! I know they do cost more than a big container of oatmeal but you have to take into consideration the additional ingredients and pure convenience. Give them a try and let me know what you think!

I have been using Olay products for years now.  I know I can count on them for everything from cleansing to moisturizing and even a bit of color too.  My mom got me started when I was a teen and I credit my great skin to so many of the beauty innovations from Olay.

I just heard through the Vogue Influencer Network about the latest innovation from Olay.  It is Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting CC Cream.  It  treats seven signs of aging while providing instant color correction.  I love the combination of beauty and protection with a hint of color! The tinted formula comes in three shades and includes UV protection. Olay's CC Cream includes ingredients that treat skin over time delivering long-term benefits.   I didn't receive any samples on this product though I would have loved to get one.  I will just have to look for it at Rite Aid this week!

I was a very lucky girl this Christmas and Hanukkah season.  Influenster recently sent me the Holiday VoxBox 2012 full of goodies including this great lipgloss, LIQUIDLipshine from NYC New York Color. I love the color they sent me, Nude York City 582. It is a glossy, shiny and very moisturizing lipgloss. I love how it makes my lips look and feel. It is portable too so you can tote it anywhere in a tiny purse or even in your pocket.

Nude York City 582  is a great neutral color but they have TONS of different colors---check them out!  These are the perfect gloss for every Christmas party and New Years eve bash in 2012 and will help you ring in the new year for 2013.

EBOOST All Natural Energy Booster Review #VoxBox

I recently received a packegt of EBOOST as part of my Influenster Holiday VoxBox 2012.  EBOOST is daily health booster, that was formulated precisely to boost your mood, focus, and immunity with all natural ingredients. I love that part...ALL-NATURAL! The concept is wonderful and it tastes great too.  I tried the Pink Lemonade.  It is super easy to use just pop the packet in water and mix it up....you are good to go.  It tastes good too and there are other flavors to choose from including orange.

I tend to pick up whatever illness, cough or cold is out there during the fall and winter months...it wears me down!  I am hoping if I use EBOOST regularly it will prevent that from happening this year.  I will keep you updated.  I only received one packet in a PINK LEMONADE flavor, but based on that, I did feel perkier.   I plan on picking some up on Amazon or at the health food store soon.

Kiss Nail Dress Review from @Influenster Holiday VoxBox 2012

I recently received Kiss Nail Dress, in " Teddy" through my Influenster Holiday Voxbox 2012. I was excited to try them since I had actually used this great manicure product before and found them sOOOO easy to use. They really last too...and last...and last...like weeks for me. I use them for manicures and pedicures. I am normally so hard on my hands and nails.  The Teddy style is pretty for the holidays and even New Years in a black shade with tiny gold raised 3-D designs on them in a swirl pattern.  They really look very elegant. They have a bunch of different styles, 21 in all, ranging from low-key to fun and crazy.  You can find what works for you too. The nice part is that you don't even have to bother with a topcoat-it is built in so the whole process is super fast. 

There are 28 strips in a pack so you can cut them up and make your own designs too. You can use all of them at once or use part of them one week and then save the rest for another manicure or even pedicure. Each package has a design booklet to help you make it fun and your own too. I would definitely use them again for a fast manicure.  As I mentioned, the neat part is that you can also use them on your toes for a funky or classy pedicure as well.

I recently received this new brush from Goody through my relationship with Influenster.  I love Goody products but I hadn't seen this one yet.  I noticed in the Influenster materials and on the Goody website that there is also a half round Styler as well.  I noticed those blue microfibers right away.  They are  in between each of the hard brush bristles.  The microfiber bristles are there to soak up the excess (up to 30%!!) water in your hair and can help to dry it faster. There are also vents on each side of the bursh to maximize the air flow. The front of the package actually points out that it helps reduce water by 30% to dry faster.  That is great news when you have really thick and frizzy curly hair like I do!

I was excited to head to NYC last week to attend  a pre-holiday season event called The Big Toy Book Biggest Day of Play.  They featured a ton of hot toys for Christmas 2012 including the FlyLine Flight System RC Racing and Combat Systems. What a fun toy!  If you are looking for a great RC flying system to keep your boy or girl active, The FlyLine System is for you.  I was impressed to see that in addition to being included in TheBigToyBook this year, FlyLine is also listed as part of the ToysRUs Hot Holiday Toy List for 2012.

It was fantastic to see the FlyLine RC planes in action.  Children of all ages were working the controls (the little ones with some help from mom or dad) and loving it.  The big smiles were everywhere as the kids saw the planes glide through the air and go around and around.  The FlyLine Flight Systems are recommended for ages 8-108 so don't discount Gramma or Grampa either.  This is definitely a fun gift for anyone.  I saw the Blazing Babe Air Racer in action and it was something else!

The great part is that it is easy to learn the basics right away so you can have fun from the get-go.  You can learn to really learn to master take-offs, landings, climbs, loops, dives, double-loops and knife-edge flight with time.  You can practice more and even learn how to do some crazy stunts, battling maneuvers and cool tricks. Flyline RC planes are fun to operate on your own or you can gather a friend or two and challenge each other to flight competitions! They have Expansion Packs as well.

It's Slinky Song Musical Box Review-Remember the fun!

I was recently reintroduced to Slinky® , one of my fave toys from when I was a little girl.  I was lucky enough to get an invite to The Big Toy Book Biggest Day of Holiday Play in New York City on Saturday, December 10.
