After she loses both her parents, 14 year old Annabel Coleridge goes to live with her fisherman grandfather on a Caribbean island paradise. Her grandfather runs a non-profit marine research and conservation center and she works with him to help the animals. She is surrounded by an extended family of sweet and loving characters and her best friend Mitzy.
Mitzy is a unique because she is a dolphin. The neighbors are a bunch of really quirky but interesting oddballs that keep your attention. This movie has such beautiful scenery too. The family will all just love Mitzy. She is something else. Annabelle's happy life quickly shifts one day when her maternal grandparents arrive with a shifty lawyer intent to bring her back to the big city life in New York. It's up to Annabel and her friends to figure out how to save the day and prove that love conquers all!
