23 Blast is a must see movie that is based a true story of a football player that loses his sight. Travis Freeman is your typical small town teenager in Kentucky and the life and entertainment in town is F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L. Travis, played by Mark Hapka, is the complete local hero on and off the field. The story starts back in the fall of 1997. The story follows Travis and his best friend Jerry Baker from the the time they meet on the football field as kids through high school. Jerry's has an affinity for drinking and other common teenage rites of passage which challenges the friendship. Then Travis develops a tragic infection that destroys his optic nerve and blinds him. He is blessed by his loving parents, physical therapists and a coach not to mention his best friend Jerry who sticks with him through his trials. Their love of football keeps them glued. Travis demonstrates resilience and bravery through it all. He ends up competing on the field and helps his team advance to the State playoffs. It is an inspiring story that is completely a must see for anyone.

Just so you know it is rated Rated PG-13 because there is a brief drinking of alcohol on school property. I think this is a good teaching moment though for kids and teens.   It's 1h 42 minutes long. It is so easy to apply and use it only takes a few seconds to add a little special look to my eyes too. I can use it on my lids to color my entire eye lid area, or I can use it as a highlighter and just quickly sweep it over my brow bone. I can blend it into creases as I choose or I can even use it as a liner and just apply along my lash lines. My 2015 Ambition: Jump Start to Fitness and Good Health All Year Long @crowdtap #CrowdtapAmbition

I learned years ago that one of the ultimate best cardio workouts is surprising simple... jumping rope. "Who knew?" I remember thinking just that too. Jumping rope is a super option for boot camp,  Cross-Training, CrossFit, double-unders, MMA, boxing, cardio endurance training and even speed training. It promotes the greatest amount of weight loss in the healthiest manner possible while improving muscle tone in your legs, lower and upper body. Don't forget that jumping rope also helps to build bone! 

I also use my elliptical machine regularly and get to 

some crazy challenging fitness classes. My goal this year is to up the ante from 4 day a week workouts to 5 days a week. I like to squeak in the extra day at home...it's easy between my elliptical, a step, weights, fitness bands and a Nat. Anyone can do it, you just have to make the decision and think about your goals. I don't have time to buy new clothes in a larger size and I don't want the embarrassment. It is easier to eat reasonably, cut back when necessary and move my body. 

As the old saying goes, "Move it or lose it!" If you don't move your body you are going to lose strength, flexibility and gain weight. Just a fact.  Wish me luck on my new 2015 goals!
